When something goes wrong with your digital signage the first step is always to try and locate where the issue lies.

As a general rule, digital signage errors fall into the following three categories:

  1. Nothing is showing on the screen - click here to troubleshoot this
  2. Something is showing on the screen, but it's not displaying correctly - click here to troubleshoot this
  3. Something is showing on the screen, it's displaying correctly, but the content isn't updating - click here to troubleshoot this

Background Info

Digital signage consists of two parts, the player and the screen.

The screen is what shows the content, and the player is the device responsible for getting content and sending it to the screen.

Generally the screen and player are two separate devices, but this is not always the case.

When checking the screen using the remote, if the screen isn't responding it's always worth checking the remote's batteries.
